i used to be able to post so often on here, but keeping up with 2 blogs has taken it's toll on me.

we've had a busy week playing with grandparents...they went back to KS today, so now it's back to the daily grind with us.

i have so much to get done in the next couple weeks...

i can't tell you how honored i was when i got an email from dana, asking me to guest design for the dozens this month!

what?! that kit club rocks.

i tried out (way back when) for their team, and of course didn't make it...i figured it would be way out of my league...so, you can imagine how surprised i was when she asked me to join along this month!

so fun!

anyways, this is some goodness i made with the kit...

this little doo-dad is a "kindness" cube...each side has some sort of kind thing i could do that day.

just inspires me to remember to be kind.

and this little guys makes me smile :)

i got to work with the work in progress christmas kit, this month...

but, i'm going to show you how i made layouts that weren't christmas themed!

this kit was very versatile.

here's one...

i love this layout of hadley...and the pictures are so cute.

she poses almost anytime i get the camera out...therefore, she's my little poser.

the buttons did not come in the kit...they were from my stash.

i am also so excited cause i've been asked to guest design for the dozens this month!

have you seen their kits? wow. they rock.

they are chocked full of yummy vintage-y stuff and lots of color!

i was so honored to be asked to GD for them.

i'll post my projects this weekend!

anyways...do you have big thanksgiving plans?

it will be our first christmas (edited---i mean thanksgiving!) away from my family...sad, but we have plans to eat with some friends from church, so it'll still be a fun day...even though we'll be missing family!

we got to work with jenni bowlin goodies this month, over at CMK.

this particular paper, was my favorite...it had the numbers already printed on it...i knew i would do a "top 10" list of something...hadley bean ended up being the one who scored this page :)

okay, i really liked my WIP kit this month...

it had a great die-cut sticker sheet in it, which makes creating cards, pretty dang easy (for me, at least).

such a simple card.

i have nothing halloween related to post today...but i do have a layout...

here's one of my projects from the WIP kit this month.

that's my momma, her hubs and my sister in the picture...i'm so excited cause momma and hubs are coming into town today!!

i'm taking a cleaning break right now...

as we speak, i've enlisted the little people to dusting and cleaning up their rooms.

it always takes them forever, so i've given them about 3 hours to get the jobs done.

i love when i see things online that make me go "oh...i love that"

here are some things that i saw in my google reader this morning...

this pumpkin decorating was on a blog, but originally it is from better homes and garden.

how cute is this?!

i loved when i saw on soulemama's blog this morning, her creative way to store dress up clothes.

how clever.

our kids dress up clothes are wadded up and thrown into a big bucket.

and they always seem to want that one costume that is on the very end of the bucket, so yes, we throw everything out to get to it....

anyways, i digress.

this is so much better.

and prettier.

and i of course had a smile from ear to ear when i saw my good friends blog this morning.

she loves to put her little people in pumpkins around this time of the year.

and it's so cute.

i ordered some baby legs for milo...but hadley and caedmon snatched them up and wore them to church.

these things are just about the handiest things i've ever seen.

it's a little cool here in the mornings...so, caedmon wore them on his arms...while hadley wore hers on her legs.

at the end of church, it was too warm for them, so they pulled them right off.

easy peasy.

the picture is blurry, but i love it.

i've found a tutu!

not exactly like that picture, but none-the-less, i love it!

not only do i get a tutu, but we also get some fab leg warmers (which i'm obsessed with right now).

and those are the fabulous leg warmers we are getting as well.

somebody mentioned that i need to take a picture of hadley bean, in this attire...and no worries, that is exactly why i'm getting them

she will be 3 in just a few weeks, and this outfit is what i'm going to do her 3 year old portraits in!

can't wait!

i also ordered some leg warmers for hadley and milo here.

i'm quite obsessed with those.

i can't wait to see little milo man in them.

over at CMK this month, we are getting to work with scenic route papers! yummy!

i was very excited when i opened up my package to find the sonoma collection.

i used this just a few months back on the WIP kit...and it has been my favorite paper to date.

so, i gladly opened my pack and started working with it again!

lucky me?

i know how lucky i am to be blessed with 3 children.

some people go their whole lives, wanting children, but not able to have them for whatever reasons.

but sometimes...i forget just what a blessing those kids are.

amidst all the bottom wiping, food cutting, dressing, toy-cleaning, breaking up fights, bottom wiping again, and usually breaking up fights again...i start to forget what a blessed life i live.

i know, everyone tells me "enjoy it now...it goes by so fast!"

really?

cause why does my life feel like it's going by so slow?

someone once described being a stay-at-home mom as "never before have i ever been doing so much, but been so bored out of my mind."

so true.

i love those kids dearly.

and although i question my place as a stay-at-home mom sometimes...i know it's where God wants me.

i just need to be re-told this day after day after day...

(on a side-note, caedmon is chanting in his room "pump it up, pump it up, pump it up"--that makes me laugh, and makes my day a bit more bearable!)

where was i going with all of this?

i need to be reminded of how lucky i am.

so i made a mini using my work in progress kit...

lucky me.

i stick it in my purse and have a reminder of how God has given me those 3 kids.

yes.

life is rough sometimes with 3 children under the age of 4.

but that's all the life i know...so, i guess in a way, it's the right life for me.

the pictures aren't the cutest pics i have of those munchkins, but i know how cute they are, so that's all that matters :)

sorry for the whining.

it's just been a whiny kind of day.

i was asked what kind of albums i use...and here they are.

the american crafts 12 x 12 D-ring albums.

i love them because i've started doing 8 1/2 x 11 layouts as well...and their page protectors fit in these albums too...so you can keep all your layouts (any size) in the same album.

i love that.

kathy asked me more about those photo sleeves i was talking about...

here they are...when i get a chance i will take a picture of them in my album...i really love how it helps me out with all those photos i have.

you can have a layout....but still keep all those photos you love...and you can even do a little embellishing on them as well.

i'm off for the weekend...one of my best friends is getting married in texas and i'm flying there tomorrow night through sunday!

and did i mention that i'll be without kids the whole weekend?!

i can't believe it...i am bringing my (husbands) i-pod, a few good books and i'm going to enjoy flying solo. it's been years since i've done that...probably not since keith and i were dating long distance!

WIP kits-October!

i just can't believe that today is the last day of september.

really?

where does the time go?

almost this time last year, we were finding out the news that we would be moving halfway across the country, for my husbands new job...it just seems crazy to me that we've been here for 10 months already?!

and even though we are in florida, and the weather is like kansas summer right now, i still "feel" fall. ya know?

i'm most definitely going to be decorating for fall (as soon as the oh so wonderful husband gets the tub out of the garage...which happens to be inconveniently hiding somewhere).

i can't wait to put my pumpkins out...ahhhh, i love fall.

even if it is 87 degrees out.

i still will embrace this season.

here's my layouts for the october kit from work in progress!

this has been my favorite kit thus far...i had lots of fun with it.

i made a few other projects too, which i'll post later.

the lighting sucks in those photos...sorry bout that.

i have also found that i LOVE the we R memory keepers 4 x 6 photo holders...they fit in your 12 x 12 scrapbook albums...and so, with this last layout, i had many, many, MANY photos that i wanted to put on it, but instead, i made this layout and put the rest of the photos in a photo sleeve holder.

i'll take pictures of it sometime to show you what i'm talking about :)

over at CMK this past weekend, we had a scrap pink crop, in honor of breast cancer awareness.

each one of the DT members hosted a challenge...mine was to scrap a layout that involved superficial things that make you happy.

not things like your family, kids, spouses...but, small things like, gilmore girls, flip-flops, the twilight books.

i love my family, but they don't always make me happy...and it's the smaller things, like getting a good email that make me smile that day.

it's very superficial. yes.

but so true.

so, i challenged people to scrap that small stuff.

and the only stipulation was that you had to include all the fun stuff you love to scrap with on your page as well...

i included masking tape, color, chipboard, thickers, sewing...and so on.

i love how it turned out.

it's so colorful and pretty :)

in other news...

i'm quite obsessed with coldplay right now.

like, i want to be married to the music.

is that possible?

i've got my i-tunes playing right now...and when i'm not on the computer, i've got the i-pod blaring away with a rush of blood to the head.

give me more coldplay.

i'm chanting that.

and you know you're listening to it a lot when your 4 year old sings along with you :)

my best friend had a sweet baby girl, lila elizabeth a few days ago.

i was so hoping i could be there in kansas when she was born, so i could see the little nugget, but she came just a few days after i left :(

i made this blanket for her, with fabric i got from repro depot.

i must say,

i did a fab job for not being a fabulous seamstress!

and in other GREAT news.

i got word yesterday that CK has accepted a layout of mine to publish!!

woo hoo!

i've been submitting to that magazine for almost 2 years, so to finally be picked up is so exciting to me!

as my daughter would say "hooray!"

we made it back home safely to florida...after a very loooooong flight cross country (well actually 3 long flights, but who's counting).

my husband and i are officially crazy for flying cross country with 3 children under the age of 4.

anyways.

hi!

long time no blog, eh?

sorry about that...we are in cali right now...and i can't get our computer connected to the internet.

which means, no posting pictures from my computer.

so instead...

i'm checking in today with some of my favorite links right now.

this girls blog is one that i'm drawn too everyday.

even though she's in my google reader and she only updates every once in awhile, i still like to go to her blog and just look at old posts (all this of course, when i have time).

i really love her blog around this time of the year cause it feels very comfy and fallish to me.

weird?

she is a pro at managing 4 kids and scrapbooking and a beautiful house and cooking and canning and the list goes on and on.

she inspires me to do a better job at what i'm doing.

i always walk away feeling like "man, i should go can something."

and then i realize i have no clue how to do that so i just go back and look at her blog again.

and i love this blog for too many reasons to list.

the main one being that she is such a free spirit.

i just think that rocks.

and thirdly...i am always drawn to this girl and her beautiful writing.

i don't write a lot on this blog (i save that for my family blog) but i am totally drawn to good writing.

and this girl's skills are beautiful. she writes about the things she is going through with such grace.

she always inspires me.

one of my good friends, allyson and i were talking about how we are never in any pictures cause we are always the ones taking them.

so, last night we had a girls night that involved taking lots of pictures of each other at various cool spots in the art district.

we had so much fun.

seriously.

once we got over the awkwardness of being in front of the camera, we let our inner tyra banks come out and we worked it.

here are some shots...it's so weird to see me as a blonde again :)

and our great-grandchildren will actually know we existed.

i really do.

back in college (back in the day) i was a photog major...

that was before everything was digital.

cause i certainly loved it.

i used my WIP kit on this one...i stuck the photo on card stock...adhered the PP over it and then ripped the paper off, over the photo, so it looks like the photo is peeking through.

here's a few peeks into my newly cleaned art space.

these are jars from IKEA...the smaller ones are like 4 for 2 bucks and that big cookie jar was like 3 bucks.

these bowls warm my heart and soul.

found them at a garage sale a few months back.

i have a high table because i'm always standing when i work.

table and shelves are from IKEA (that's the beauty of having IKEA 20 minutes away...everything you own ends up from there :) )

i've recycled baby food jars...

i use them to store alphabet pieces that don't have a home.

the first jar holds any "A-D" letters, second jar holds "E-H" and so on.

my basket that houses all my alphabets...

there are too many in there.

i got these free at the exchange keith's work had a while back...i LOVE them.

they are true little treasures for me.

i thought about painting them, but decided that i liked the colors together.

they hold various embellishments and chipboard that i've gotten.

i love my space.

it's the perfect size, and it's right in our bedroom (our room is split into an office/art area and bedroom on the other side).

the kids can be playing upstairs in the playroom while i work.

or, i have that other table set up, so they can sit and create some stuff too, if they'd like.

anyways, i try to keep my "stuff" that i own to a minimal, because i can't handle having too much stuff.

i would say that right now, i have too much stuff.

a quick 2 pager for you...

i used a becky higgins sketch for this one...i'm normally not a huge fan of those sketches, cause they seem so plain to me, but i was able to add embellishments, where a photo would be, so i think that spruced it up a bit.

this was a fun night...me, keith, allyson and matt all went to the so you think you can dance tour last year!

holy moley.

it was so fun!

i love these pictures.

anyways, we are still here and kicking...fay, is still here too. we have had non stop rain for 2 1/2 days...and last night starting at about 1:00, the rain just came down so hard...and it didn't stop until this morning, about 30 minutes ago.

seriously.

i thought we were going to be blown or washed away.

some places have it so bad though...one place to the east of us has gotten at least 25 inches of rain!

can you believe that?

they are flooded big time, and the worst part...the snakes, alligators and wildlife are all coming up into the flood waters.

gross.

hopefully the rain stops soon!

the prompt this week at the art is found is to use your old sewing patterns...i had a couple ideas floating around in my head, when i heard this prompt, but this is the one i ended up going with.

i cut out the 4 model women and stuck them on my page...i love how it turned out.

and okay, i totally got the idea from someone (and i can't for the life of me, remember who...if it's you, tell me so i can give you the proper credit!!) edited--it was the fabulous miss mandi who's page i saw! she so did not want the credit, but i'm giving it to her anyways! thanks girl!...anyways, what i saw was someone who cut their subjects out and then painted a background, like i did...i stored that in my brain for a while, just waiting to use it...and now i can't remember where i got it from...buehler, buehler?

anywho...go and run over to the art is found and play along!

and now, i owe a huge apology to her because i must be considered the lamest happy mailer ever! she got stuck with someone who rarely makes it to the post office.

over at CMK, i'm hosting the "monday muse" challenge.

my challenge to you is to make a layout using a magazine photo.

i'm often inspired by pictures i see in my favorite catalogs or magazines...most of the time, i rip the pages out and stick them in a folder, in hopes of scrapping them.

if you haven't ever scrapped a magazine photo, i encourage you to do it...for me, it's a good release of emotions (as most of the pictures that i'm attracted to bring on memories, feelings and emotions)...and plus...magazine photos are flippin' brilliant (most of the time!)

this layout i used a pic from the anthro catalog.

this picture...seriously.

it's so cute.

and so on my list of things to do in my life (road trip with my family, to the SW states).

so, yah, anywho...

okay, so i just love this project i made...

the kids love anything and everything electronic (i.e. movies, computer games, their leapsters, t.v., you get the picture).

seriously.

if allowed, they would sit and do those things all day...but they are not allowed.

and so, keith and i have been wanting to put together some sort of privilege thing...so that they are rewarded with these things for their good behavior.

so that they have to work for these things.

so, here ya go...

the kids privilege board.

i took a dry erase board that i picked up from wal-mart and painted brown around the edges...then i used all the leftover goodies from my WIP kit...and put this board together...i glued the scallop circles onto the magnets that came with the board.

so, when caedmon does something good, he gets to pick a privilege...same with hadley. they also can get them taken away. so, it's highly unlikely that they each get all 7 privileges in one day...if they did though...that would be a pretty easy day for me!

oh, and not that this matters, but the kids earn their privileges today, to use tomorrow. make sense?

anyways...all you mamas out there, i thought you would like to see this!

and i have to say that it's working thus far.

they think it's fun...earning their fun stuff. and then it really hits the heart when they have to take a privilege away...

so, yah...i love it!

all right friends...i'll probably be offline for the next few days...my parents and grandparents are coming into town!!

can't wait to visit with them!

and also...my little man, milo, turns 1 on sunday!

i was so honored to find out this weekend that i made the official Work In Progress design team, for the next 6 months!

yes, i was just the guest designer...and i decided last month, to apply for the full design team because i loved the kit i got to work with, and trish (the owner) is such a sweetheart.

i'm so glad i did, and i look really forward to working with this team (full of FABULOUS designers, i might add)!

i'm just thrilled!!

i'm so excited!

here was my entry for the round...they narrowed it down from 20 to 10!

and the next challenge is to make a layout using circles...which i'm working on right now (taking a blogging break).

this is the final round...after this, they will pick one person for their design team and one person to guest design in july.

exciting!

this is the mini i made...i used a cheerios box, and cut it up into 4 pieces...punched some holes...glued some card stock and felt down....did some stapling...some sewing.

and voila.

here ya go!

over at taif this week, the prompt is using magazines.

i saw this picture in the anthropologie catalog a while back (yes, i get the catalog. no, i don't ever spend money there---i can't stomach spending $50++ dollars on a shirt--neither can my husband...)

i almost forgot...

christine asked me if i actually sew on my layouts...and the answer is yes!

i just recently learned how to do it...and it took a lot of tweaking of the sewing machine (cause yah, at first, i was totally ripping the paper).

practice on some card stock first, and get the settings just right before you actually sew onto your layout.

but still, i've messed up many a times, and i always like how it turns out.

i like messy though.

so, that means, i get this fabulously awesome scrapbooking kit (stole the pic from trish's blog--thanks trish!) and i get to create yummy stuff with it!

i've had a really good mail week! the past couple of days, i've gotten-

envelopes.

i had these great 6 x 6 chocolate brown envelopes laying around...the came with some stampin' up cards i got a while back, but i never used the actual envelopes.

so, i thought they'd be great for TAIF prompt, to use envelopes!

i had the idea running through my head last night, so during nap/movie time this afternoon, i put my mini together.

and it was so easy.

kate's mini originally inspired my idea (she was the guest designer over there this time around), i just went from there with it.

in each pocket, i'll put random magazine pictures, quotes, things printed from the internet...all that inspire me in different areas.

this first one is just random things that inspire.

this one is home decor that i see that inspires.

see that button...found it at the crusade give-a-way a couple months back!

this ones hard to read, but it's my fashion inspo pocket.

this one is my life pocket.

this is where i'll put scripture quotes.

things that inspire me to be a better mom/wife/person.

things of that nature.

well, i've already started filling it up.

i think it will be neat for my kids to look through this one day as well...and see what their mama liked back in the day.

this layout is so very fun.

and so very not me.

i mean the colors and all. it's very rare that i bring out the bright colors anymore.

well, maybe sometimes i do, but i dunno.

i just look at this layout and think it's different from all the other ones i've done.

maybe not.

i did this for the scrapjacked blog.

i was so excited to get a "happy mail" package the other day.

over at SIS, i signed up for a happy mail group, and you get a partner and for a couple months you just randomly start sending goodies off to each other.

and let me tell you that when i received my goodies...it put a huge smile on my face!

they don't call it happy mail for nothing.

and then today...i got a random happy mail from somebody else in the group...i got a sewing kit...that was definitely on my wish list! i use my sewing machine all the time, but i wanted to just hand stitch every once in a while, so i was so excited to find that in my mailbox today!!

anyways...the point of my happy mail story was to tell you that, that ribbon on my layout is from my partner! she sent me gobs of good-a-licious ribbon. i think i just made up a word.

so, yah.

i'm happy for my happy mail.

and i'm also soooo happy for this girl.

mandi is this "super talented at everything" girl, and the type of girl who i would totally hang out with...if we lived by each other.

instead. we are friends only through the online world.

which isn't bad...but anyways...

i'm excited for her cause she's been added to the TAIF group of gals!

what a fun blog.

and what a fun group of girls.

and she gave the blog a complete make over which completely blows my mind.

seriously girl...it's rad.

so excited to see what they come up with.

their prompt right now is to do something magnificent with envelopes, so i'd like to work on that sometime soon.

26 things i love...

...at the ripe old age of 26.

i'm going to be turning 27 soon (holy moley) so i wanted to start documenting some things from life this past year.

a lot has happened this past year, but i wanted to start off with something easy, so i made a list of random things that i'm loving right now.

and it's very random.

after i had it printed and on my page i had realized i forgot some important things...like, my family and taking pictures.

apparently cheeseburgers and cheetos were more important and on my mind when i wrote this.

i must have been hungry.

so, i must say sorry to my family and my camera.

i do love you all too.

sorry from the crappy picture...the lighting was bad when i took it, so it's not very clear.

i'm still working hard on trying to find the perfect spot and lighting to take pictures of my pages.

it's so hard cause i want all the detail to show, but it just never happens that way.

any suggestions?

well, i must run as the kids are fighting with each other downstairs and milo is screaming upstairs.

i was super inspired by a layout i saw over at SIS the other day.

she had her journaling going a little up and down like this...and i just loved it!

i knew i wanted to do a layout about keith like this, and this journaling idea was the perfect fit for it!

i drew curvy lines and then just wrote out my journaling.

it was actually a lot of fun, and you will be seeing more of it from me!

so, a few random things on my mind today-

1. my friends left this morning...it was such a fun trip with them!

it was so sad to see them go. seriously.

2. i'm obsessed with my new favorite song (and video) by coldplay.

how come every time i see a new i-tunes/apple commercial, i fall in love with their song. seriously. i could watch the commercial over and over and over and over. (right jenn and nicole-i stopped dead in my tracks, every time the commercial came on this week!)

3. i've been really inspired by SIStv as of late.

the work over there is ahhhh-mazing.

4. i LOVE that people are inspired by things you see on my blog...so, if you are, please make sure to leave me a comment or give credit on your blog. it's common courtesy in the blog-o-world that if you are inspired by others, please let them know.

i always try to do that (i'm sure i've failed here and there) but, it's the right thing to do.

i know that by having a blog, i put myself out there for people to straight out copy what i do, and that sucks, but i hope that most will do the right thing.

5. i've got to take sick kids to the doctor today. hadley's eczema has been acting up and caedmon has had an ear-ache for about 4 days now.

ugh.

so, yah, all those things are very random and have nothing to do with each other. but it's all running through my mind today.

well, friends...it's been a fun, busy weekend...i must go and take care of the kiddos...they are all running and crawling around like crazy monkeys right now.

her brown eyes are as big as her face...and i love it!

i always wanted my kids to have big brown eyes (note to self...good job on marrying a chinese man...that's a surefire way to get your kids to have brown eyes.)

my take for the OLW challenge this week. the word was {today}. i loved this word. i have been having all these different feelings/emotions running through my head lately (well, since becoming a mother...but more so, lately) so, this word really struck something inside of me.

my journaling is super heartfelt in this one. i'm not used to journaling like that.

but it felt good to get it out on paper.

and to scrap it.

i mean, this is how i feel sometimes.

super inadequate.

and so dang awkward in this world.

where do i fit in??

so, yah...that's me.

and i've been super inspired by rainbows lately, so i decided to cut one using some of my beautiful prism paper!

their colors are so {lovely}.

wow! it's been a long time since i've posted on here!

so sorry to be gone for so long--i was enjoying some time with the family back in kansas :)

well, we got back on saturday, and since mothers day was yesterday, keith let me do whatever i would like...all day long.

so of course, i picked scrapping!

i hadn't touched it for about 10 days, so i was really excited to just get to sit/stand/listen to music/and scrap!

here is another layout i did for HOF...i painted the brown lines onto the card stock. it's like my new favorite thing to do :)

okay, so i'm stoked to let you all know that i've been asked to join a design team! prism card stock has asked me to join their team! woot! they are a card stock manufacturer...check out their website if you haven't heard of them before...any color you could possibly imagine...they have it. i got a phone call from them last week...and the kind ladies over there sent me some samples so i could see what i think of it (before i accepted). okay, samples...i'm thinking like 5 sheets...no way, i got enough card stock to last me a lifetime :) well, maybe not that long (the way i use it!) but they were so generous!! so, now i'm making layouts and cards using their goods...and in return if my projects get picked up for magazines, or ads, or shows...then i get paid for it! another woot woot!

here is my first layout using their card stock...i also made this for OLW...the word this week is "grow."

so yah, go check out their site if you haven't already...thanks to the ladies at prism! can't wait to work with you!

i made this layout the other day for the art is found. i love this challenge blog, because it challenges you to find art in the normal, everyday things. this young, talented girl is heading it up. she makes me smile...the fact that she is so young, is amazing...she's this talented now...what will she be like in 10 years?!? she'll be blowing every one's socks off. fo' sure.

anyways, this prompt challenged you to use shopping tags...and i've had this layout in mind for a long time...so, i finally put it to paper. i love how it turned out.

my favorite is the little bow tie i put on milo...it's just a little piece of chipboard.

anyways...love it.

i was so excited to FINALLY get my paper trends magazine in the mail a few days ago...i was published in it 2 times! one with milo's birth announcement, and the other was our family wreath that i made a while back. it was exciting to see my babies in the mag!

along with 2 copies of the magazine, i also got a box stashed full of scrapping goodness :) this paper was one of the many pieces of patterned paper i got! oh my gosh...it's beautiful paper. i am not much of a patterned paper girl anymore, but i couldn't resist doing a layout with this baby. i made this for scrapmojo. they had you use a song title from juno. this was one of the titles...and i love saying dude (don't know why)...so, this was perfect for my choice.

okay, and on a side note...i finally saw juno this weekend while my girls were here! i know, i know, i'm like the last person on the planet who hasn't seen it. i fell in love with it, like everyone said i would. and the music.

well, my best friends were in town this past weekend, so that explains my MIA...but, i'm back! i had a blast with them...we always love to talk about old stories from high school and college...and it's always funny. we like to crack ourselves up. the best part is that nobody else ever knows what we are talking about (i.e. our husbands.) they always just sit there, while we tell funny stories...and talk amongst themselves. oh well! it's always fun! here's a birthday gift i made for my friend, delia...this is her son...who is milo's age...i took a couple pictures of him one day, and thought this would be cute in his room. she loved it!

okay, and random, but i'm totally finding inspo from my sling package. isn't this cool? wouldn't it be a cool scrapbook page layout? hmmm...i may be busy working on this later!

after searching long and hard, i have FINALLY found an online vintage fabric store that i love! orlando has nothing to offer in the fabric department, so i've been online searching for weeks...finally found this great site. yeah for good, vintage fabric.

i got the fabric on friday...super quick and inexpensive shipping, which is always a plus!

and they have great ribbon/felt/and many cute items for sale!

what am i going to do with the fab fabric? i've yet to figure that out :)
