milo campbell is here!

well, HE has arrived! we have waited so long for this little guy (and to know what this little "guy" was), and he is finally here. he arrived early this morning at 3:30 am. his name is milo campbell anderson! he weighed 7 lbs and was 18 inches...pretty good size considering he was 4 weeks early! he has a full head of black hair (i swear, will any of my kids ever look like me???). anyways, i will write more later, but enjoy the pics of the family!

wedding shower invite

this is a picture of a wedding shower invite that i made for a lady at church. the confetti lifts up and all of the shower info is on the celery behind it. i'm really loving how "naturey" it turned out!
supplies used: chocolate chip, certainly celery, confetti white paper, celery ink, paper source stamp, hemp twine.

well, i am off to take a nap...this baby is wearing me out...i wish it would get here already (yah, that way i can be living off even less sleep than i am now!). oh, i'm just so tired these days, and i know that won't change when the baby comes...that's the scary part, and the thing i'm looking forward to the least!
have a great day!

almost done!

one thing i love about a post album is that you can skip around and do any page you may feel like doing (as opposed to a strap hinge album). my son's first year album was a strap hinge, and i vow never to use those again...i did so many re-doing of pages...it's just so nice to be able to sit down and if i feel like scrappin' christmas, then i will, or if i feel like scrappin' a birthday, then i'll do that. i don't have to stay in any sort of order, since at the end, i will be putting them in order. i feel like my scrap booking is a lot better now too, because i'm doing pages that i actually want to do...make sense? anywho, this layout is one of my daughter, hadley, and her first days home from the hospital. this is one of the last layouts i needed to complete in order to finish her book (which i hope to have done by the time baby #3 arrives!) i only have a few more pages and then i'll be done! enjoy! and have a great day!
supplies used: so saffron 12 x 12 paper, soft sky paper and ink, tempting turquoise ink, cool caribbean ink, friends simply scrappin kit, big deal alphabet, tempting turquoise marker
