well, this is actually sketch #6, and the below card is sketch #5. these are from sara's blog...she is doing the 27 sketches in 27 days to celebrate her 27th birthday! i really do love these challenges, but i definitely cannot keep up! i don't really know how i feel about this card (sketch #6). black and white is NOT my style...but, i had those big brads, just lying around, and i really wanted to utilize them, so i thought they would be perfect for this sketch, as it called for 3 brads (or something of the like) in the top right corner. pictures are always hard too...i feel like my cards always look so much better in person! i do love how the next card turned out...i used close to cocoa, which is another color that i do not use very much. when i first started using su! (about 2 years ago) i could not get away from close to cocoa and old olive...i made everything using those 2 colors only! isn't it funny how our styles and preferences change (for me, it's a daily change!). i hardly ever pull out those colors now a days. and i am still LOVING fabulous flowers...i could stamp and cut that flower all day long! i love how it looks on everything! i am going to a crop this weekend, and i hope to use that flower on some of my scrapbook pages...it will look "fabulous!" thanks for stopping by today, and make sure to sign up for my blog candy (2 posts below) if you haven't already...i will draw a winner tomorrow morning! have a great day :)
